As you can see Baby Girl Nickell still doesn't have a name! We are at 27 weeks and we are still scheduled to have a c-section on November 24th. We are also going to have another ultrasound on September 10th to see if the placenta has moved any. I am really excited to see her again. I had a crazy dream that she is going to have a head full of blond hair! We are really working on getting the girl's rooms situated and as soon as that is done I will post pictures of their rooms!
This past weekend we celebrated with cousin Gehrig his 2nd birthday at Freeman Lake and we also celebrated Grandy's birthday. Mommy wasn't real smart to begin with dressing me in a white shirt, because by the time I had played in the sand and then had cake and watermelon, I was pretty much a mess! There was no stopping her!! We just love birthdays! Coming up is Nanny's on the 4th and then Jagger's and then my favorite Uncle Ta-Ta will be 16!!!
The first week of school has been rough on mom, so Reese has had to hang out with Daddy at night while mommy works at school or works on school work at home. Daddy got a new riding lawn mower and this is his first real mow of the yard. Reese loved riding on the lawn mower. They look just alike with the same face even! I remember riding on the lawn mower with my Pop when I was little and I to thought it was a big deal! Reese also decided that same night that she would help daddy shuck the corn. She even tried to eat it not cook, but she spit it right back out. They always have to try it once huh!
Reese really enjoyed celebrating Mason's birthday this past weekend with cake and ice cream and of course playing at Grandy's. For some reason Reese and Mason just like screaming and chasing each other around, it is cute for a little while and then it just gets annoying!! Papaw Jim just goes in the living room and goes to sleep somehow. The boys are definitely going to make Reese even tougher and rougher than she already is!
So yesterday Matt had to be at school all day for a PD and open house, so Reese and I decided to venture to Louisville. Of course I want to shop and Reese wants to play, so there was not too much shopping done. My steal of the day was $3.97 pillows at PotteryBarn, my FAVORITE store of all times! It sure isn't like it use to be when she just slept in her stroller while I shopped. The straps on the stroller don't even hold her down and she knows how to unbuckle them. We played at the play area at Oxmoor Mall and she really liked that. It is a huge ship with a slide. Then we met Lee Ann at Chuck E Cheese. We have never been there before with her and it definitely isn't what I remembered it being like. I just remember the puppets doing a show and a bunch of balls you jump in, well there wasn't either one of those things. Reese had a great time though riding toys and playing games. Gatti's is definitely better priced on food and better quality, but they had many more games to play! Thanks Aunt Lee Ann (Annie) for coming with me and playing games with us!
This is a sad day in the Nickell household. One of our favorite players on our favorite team is gone. Manny Ramirez has left the Boston Red Sox and for the sunny coast of LA. I cannot say that I am surprised, however, last week he was clocked at 6 seconds getting to first base. I think Reese could run faster than that. It will be interesting to see how the Red Sox finish out the year, and if the new player pans out. This, of course, is Brittany's husband and I have hijacked the website. I thought I would put out a little information that is important to the gentlemen that read this stuff.
