Heartland Weekend

Saturday we went to the annual Heartland Parade. It is really the only day that we miss the old house because we could walk down to the parade and we didn't have to worry about traffic. The girls had a great time at the parade with their cousins. Saturday night we went to some friends house for a cookout and to watch the fireworks. Reese just had a ball playing with friends. Today, we enjoyed the weather by going to Taylor's baseball games. This week is my first basketball game, so we will see how that goes. We are already looking forward to a three day weekend coming up!

Gehrig's Party!

Reese couldn't wait to go this party because she was going to ride on a real train. Gehrig celebrated his birthday in New Haven at the Railway Museum on a train! We had a nice sack lunch on the train. The kids got to run around and they had a great time!

Ramsey is a Rock Star!

Friday was a very interesting day. The girls went to Tracey's as usual, but Matt and I had a CPR/Choking class at Hardin Memorial for coaching. So, I get a phone call right when we get done that Ramsey has choked on a rock and swallowed it. She had just sit her down for a second to get another baby outside when she put it in her mouth. Reese was the one that told her about it, which I am very glad for her watching out for her little sister. I called the doctor and they said to bring her in and just to be safe, they sent us to get an x-ray. If the rock was in her lungs, she would have to have a procedure done at Kosairs in order to remove it. Thankfully, the rock was in her colon. They said it would take a couple of days in order for it to pass and that it could be painful, poor thing. So, Ramsey is our blessed Rock Star!! Thanks to Etown Diagnostic, we received the picture of her x-ray.

Bats Game

Last night we had a family fun night at Slugger Field in Louisville. Our Sunday School went together and the kids really did have a great time together. Reese got to ride the Merry Go Round, play on the playground and run the bases after the game! Of course, I think the best part is all the great ball park food, especially the funnel cake that Reese and I shared. Ramsey stayed at Aunt Annie's house while we went to the game. We can't wait to go again another time, we love baseball!
