Halleluiah, Praise the Lord, AMEN!!!

We FINALLY closed on our old house! This is just such an answered prayer and a true blessing that this is a done deal and the check is in our hand. This only took 7 months to complete, but with the way the market is right now, we are just lucky that we got to close. It really makes our new house much more enjoyable knowing that we don't own two homes.

Favorite Shows

Per Nora's request I am posting my favorite shows. I am not much on the reality shows or actually TV in general, but here it goes in no particular order.

1. Louisville Basketball
2. Red Sox Baseball (basically any baseball, basketball or football game)
3. American Idol
4. Jon and Kate Plus 8
5. Grey's Anatomy
6. Anything on TLC or HGTV

Now it is your turn. Maybe you will inspire me to watch something new!

Cincinnati Trip

Since we didn't go to Florida this year, we thought we would take a short trip to Cincinnati, you know they are so comparable!!! Reese was excited to stay in a hotel and to go swimming, but Matt and I got to do what we love and that is watch baseball. Reese did an outstanding job to sit, well not sit, but last through a 10 inning ballgame and the Reds won! She found her new favorite food, dip n dots! The next day we got up and went to the Newport Aquarium, what a neat place, but very crowded. Overall it was a great trip and I did get to hit the Gap Clearance outlet and it was well worth the stop!

Swimming with Jagger!

You wouldn't believe the difference between one day to the next in the pool. Reese decided at Jagger's Granmama's house that she would swim from one end to the other in the pool. She had a great time playing with Jagger and then going to a cookout later on that night.

A BIG shock to all! It is a girl!

Matt and I were very shocked when they said it was a girl, we just knew it was a boy. Reese was right all along, she was the only one saying it was a little sister. Oh well, I always said we would have all girls! Everything looked great and she weighs 11 oz. The only bad news was that I have placenta previa, AGAIN! I wasn't surprised at this either though, I just pray it doesn't give me any problems. Basically my placenta is not where it is suppose to be. We have a lot of name talking to do because we don't have a single idea to this point, we will keep you updated though. Thank God for a healthy baby girl!

A NOT so good experience...

Ok, so today trying to be the fun mom, I decided to take Reese to "I Made It" by myself, inspired by Kate on Jon and Kate plus 8. I thought surely if she can take six girls, I can handle one by myself, boy was I wrong. You know that famous saying about attention span being as long as your age, I think it held true today, it was only 2 minutes for Reese!! Mistake number one, going by myself, mistake number two, thinking that I had time to sit down and paint also. Reese didn't understand that she couldn't take home her fish today that she had painted in two minutes and I gave up trying to explain that it had to "cook". Maybe next year! While tomorrow is the big day, please check back tomorrow for the big news!

I love my Uncle Ta-Ta!

Today Reese and I went swimming with Uncle Taylor. Reese adores him and I think he feels the same. He recently bought her a stuffed elephant at Khol's with his own money while mom and I were shopping.
I bet she jumped off the steps of the pool 100 times and she even got brave enough to jump off the diving board to daddy, I mean ironing board as Reese calls it. We are taking advantage of every day of summer that is left. This week we are going to I Made It to paint and we are looking forward to that as well!

Feeding the Ducks!

We have found a new spot that Reese really likes, Freeman Lake Park. There is one area where there is a slide and swing for Reese's age and then of course the ducks. Yesterday she was lucky because a little boy gave her a piece of bread to feed the ducks.

Levi's 2nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Levi! Reese loves going to Levi's house because he has goats and dogs and an awesome swing set! She got to pet a baby goat that was only a week old, he was so cute. Levi's mom, Sonya and I have been friends since high school. I was the same as Reese, I liked going to her house because she always had puppies or we would ride four wheelers. Reese also got to hit the pinata for candy and she thought that was so neat!! Levi celebrated his birthday with curious george. Reese had a great time at the party and of course my highlight of the party is the cake!

4th of July!

We had a very busy 4th of July. We went to Louisville to Aunt Patty's for a cookout and Reese played with her cousins Gehrig and Olivia. They really had a good time with bubbles. Then, we headed back home and went to the Highbaugh's and she played with Meredith, Averie, Maddie, Madison, and Preston. Reese did a really good job with the fireworks. She didn't sit long with her friends on the blanket, she decided that daddy's lap was better suited for the fireworks. Only 11 more days until we all know what the sex of the baby will be! Post your predictions!!

Fun in the Pool!

Mommy finally got me in my pool! As you can see she is in the hay instead of grass because we still don't have a good yard yet, but it is getting there. It was funny because she wouldn't sit down much because it was so rough on the bottom from mud clumps. I laid out with her and course got burned because I had not been out in the sun much this summer. I ordered an order of water from Reese and she would say, "that will be a dollar," it was so cute.
