Central Hardin Baseball!

We sure have missed going to Central Hardin games. Matt and I went to the sem-finals without the girls, but then we decided to take them to the finals. The girls got all decked out in the Central gear to go and watch two innnings of baseball! It started raining and storming. Tomorrow is the championship and we are hoping to go and cheer them on at state, we just can't stay away! Go BRUINS! This is a photo that came out after the state tournament that I wanted to share.

As many of you know, I love dressing my girls for church and I try to get as many Sundays as I can.

Science Center

Over Spring Break we decided to take a little trip to the Science Center. Matt and I had not been since we were elementary age. We also took the girl's to Lynn's Paradise Cafe for lunch and then the Homemade Pie Kitchen for ice cream! We had a great day!

First Christian Church Service Day!

First Christian had the second annual family serivce day! This year I was excited that my parents joined us in helping clean up trash around Freeman Lake. Afterward we had a family picnic at the lake. It was absolutely a perfect day for the service sunday because the weather was great! I will look forward to this day every year!

Kindergarten Graduation

Reese had a wonderful Kindergarten year! Her teacher was fabulous and I had a real close friend that I appreciated keeping a close eye on her, not to mention that Matt was there! I was just blown away by the things that she learned this year. Creekside did a wonderful job with the ceremony as always! anuary. After graduation, we came back to the house and had her favorite dessert, strawberry shortcke! Of course Gran and Grandy spolied her with books, her favorite as well! We are very proud of Reese what what you accomplished this year in school!

Mother's Day Tea

Every year, my mother-in-law takes Reese to the annual tea at the Brown Pusey House. This year we decided that Ramsey was old enough and we also included my mom and nanny. It truly was a great moment for all my favorite women in my life to be together! The girls dresses were precious that Grandy got them with matching doll dresses of course!

Golden Mermaids

Ramsey has always had to sit on the sidelines while Reese has played softball, basketball and soccer, so she told me she wanted to play something. She wanted to play soccer like Sis and wear the shin guards, so we signed her up. I ended up being her team's assistant coach! She loved playing on the team with her friend, Harper. She scored a goal her very first game! She didn't do too bad for her first time and says she wants to play again, so I guess it was a success! Her favorite parts were saying, "Go, Mermaids" at the end of the games with all of our hands in the middle and the snacks!

Down by the Creek Bank!

Reese was in the play, Down by the Creek Bank at church. She loves being in plays and in my opinion does a really good job in front of crowds. In the last play she wanted to do a solo, but this play she wanted to have a speaking part. This play was special to me and my family because I performed this play when I was little. I remember my Pop making the fishing poles for the pl

ay. We have awesome people that dedicate a lot of time and effort to put on wonderful performances! Reese was a little tired during this performance because she had played three softball games the day before and one right before this performance, but she still hung in there and did great!

Angels are opening weekend runner-ups!

This is Reese's first year playing softball and she really is enjoying playing! The first weekend they had an opening weekend tournament and ended up being runner-ups! It was a lot of games in a short period of time, but it was a lot of fun! She is on the team with two of her friends, Hannah and Harper.

Family Birthday

Matt always jokes that we celebrate the girl's birthdays for a week, but it is about the truth. We took her to Raftery's on her real birthday and got her a fish. The following Sunday we had her family birthday with family. It was a busy day with church, out to eat, softball game and then a church play. Reese's 6th Birthday Night Owl Sleepover

This year for Reese's birthday we had her first sleepover. What started out as a couple of friends, ended up being 9 total girls! But I couldn't have asked for better girls to spend the night. All of the girls had great manners. To start the night we had a dress-up tea. The girls wanted to take their drink order and I served them all of their appetizers. My mother in law graci

ously allowed us to borrow some tea-cups and saucers for the girls to use and thankfully none were broken! Next, we had a craft. I found this cute little craft on pinterest. I simply cut out the owl pattern on different scrapbook paper and then the girls painted their canvas and then glued their owl on the canvas and we added button eyes and a ribbon for hanging! After craft time was sundae buffet! We played several games, but the hit was piggly wiggly with the girl's sleeping bags. All of the girls hid in different sleeping bags and then a girl had to guess who was in what sleeping bag by saying, "piggly wiggly," and the girls in the sleeping bag said, "oink, oink," so they had to guess by their voice. Lastly, they all piled up on the basement floor and watched Soul Surfer. Luckily no one wanted to go home and everyone slept great. The next morning I fixed homeade sprinkled donuts for breakfast. I hope Reese remembers this birthday!
