Great Start for Baseball!

Last night was my brother Taylor's first baseball game of the season. They beat John Hardin 18-3. He pitched and hit the ball very well. We about froze to death watching the game, but it was worth it. We are hoping that is the last of the 30 degree baseball watching weather.

EASTER 2008

We had a wonderful, cold Easter. I can't believe that it actually snowed on Easter. Reese had to wear tights, sweater and her winter jacket to church. She loved her Elmo basket. The Easter bunny brought her some Elmo underwear in hopes that she would want to go to the potty so that she could wear them. She had an Easter egg hunt over a Tracey's, her babysitter, and she just loved it. Of course it was 65 degrees on Friday! We also went to church on Saturday morning and she wasn't real excited about getting her picture with the Easter bunny, so I had to get it with her!! We went over to the Meeks for our family Easter dinner, a great meal as always. The highlight of Easter was Western and UofL advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. I have never worn red so proud. Reese wore her UofL cheerleading outfit and she looked so cute. Her daddy hopes it is not a permanent condition of her wearing a cheerleading outfit!! The most awesome experience of Easter was going to see the Easter pageant at South East Christian Church in Louisville. It really is an eye opening production. I would recommended it to anyone who has not seen anything like this.

March Madness!

I can't believe that I haven't posted in so long. Actually I did have a post ready and somehow Reese came up and deleted it, so I didn't take the time to re-do the post. A lot has happened in the last month. The best thing is that Central won the district tournament and made it to the Region finals. As you can see in the picture, Reese got to help daddy cut down a piece of the net. It was a wonderful, successful season, but it is nice to have Matt home more often at the same time. Matt also had his thirtieth birthday on March 3. Matt has also had two straight weekends in Bowling Green taking exams to try and finish up his masters! I hope to goodness he passes those!! House update- we basically lack the yard, concrete, electric inspection and the cleaning. We did get to move our storage unit stuff this weekend, so it actually felt closer to the big day! I am hoping that it is not too much longer. Baseball has already started for my brother, so that will be my weekday nights. Reese loves going to the games and running around of course.
