Snow fun!

We have had a rough week. Ramsey has had RSV and my Pop is in the hospital. So, Ramsey couldn't be out in the snow very long. We basically bundled her up and took a picture of her outside and then brought her back in. We have had pizza tonight and made our first snow cream and it was yummy! We are all wondering about school on Monday already.

Reese's 1st gymnastics lesson

Reese has been so excited about starting gymnastics. She did such a good job listening and she didn't want to leave. The harder part was trying to keep Ramsey in the viewing room. She would try to shoot in when someone was going in or out. She now wants to be official and get the gymnastic "outfit" instead of wearing a t-shirt. We are going to try tee-ball next, that ought to be interesting!

Ramsey loves white doughnuts!

Ramsey will eat anything now, including white doughnuts!

The Girls

I don't dress the girls alike very often, but my mom got the girls the cutest sweaters for Christmas, so I just got this picture before going to a basketball game this week. These girls just mean the world to me and sometimes I just stop and look at them and thank God for two beautiful, healthy girls. It is my hope that I can be the mom to them, that my mom has been and is to me!

Surprise Party

This week I had a milestone birthday, 30. I guess I haven't really had the time to stop and think about it, but man that just sounds so much different. Matt decided to surprise me with family and friends at the house this passs Saturday. Taylor called and asked me if I wanted to go and see the movie the Blindside and I have really been wanting to see it, so of course I went, little do I know, all apart of the plan. I did think for a minute that it was a little odd that my 17 year old brother wanted to take his old sister to the movies, he paid and everything! So, after I dropped him off at his house, I was greeted with a big surprise. The first thing I thought was, "man, I know my house wasn't clean enough to have people over." Matt pulled it off though and we had wonderful soup and of course cake! Thanks Matt for making this a special birthday! I will always enjoy family and friends, clean house or not!

"Can I go outside now"

Reese just couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow. I kept telling her all day, "let it snow a little bit more and it will be better to play in" I couldn't believe she fell for that. I finally had to give in when a group of kids came to our door to ask if they could sled down our hill. She convinved Matt in going outside with her, thankfully I had to stay in with Ramsey. She enjoyed throwing snow balls at the boys and swinging on her swing set. Of course all pictures were taken from inside the house! We sure did all enjoy a four day weekend!

Great Friends

This is just a great picture of our friends and their two boys with the girls. Reese just adores Jagger and Ramsey had to set the mark straight who was the boss with her toys that night. It will be so fun watching these two precious boys grow up with the girls, hopefully they will watch over them at school. We always have such a great time when we get together! I will have to teach Reese how NOT to sit, this poor picture might come back to haunt her!
