Dora Party!

Today was the big Dora party. Reese enjoyed having all of her family and friends together to celebrate her birthday. We had pizza and cake at Freeman Lake and it was a beautiful day to play outside. The kids got to play on the playground, play in the sand and do bubbles. They really enjoyed hitting the 3 for all the candy as well. Reese got some great gifts such as a bubble lawn mower, several games, clothes, playdough, Dora doll and baby, digital camera and much much more. We had a little scare at the end. It was a great place to have a party, but there is only one bad thing, the public that is there too! When I got there to set up the party, there was another party going on and I had reserved and paid for the pavilion for the whole day. So, my mother in law had to kick them out and they weren't real happy about that. Well, they finally moved but they used the grill and Reese decided she was going to stick her hands on it. We don't know if she touched the coals or the rack, but whatever she touched, it burned her little pinkie and it got some blisters. Luckily, it was hours later that she touched it or it would have been really bad. Overall, we had a wonderful day and thanks to everyone that came! We are looking forward to a day of rest tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Reese!

Friday we celebrated Reese's third birthday. It was a beautiful day! We celebrated by going to Louisville to Chuckie Cheese and then to Uncle Taylor's baseball game. I enjoyed birthday's so much as a kid and it is so fun to make sure that your own child has the same experiences that you did. Reese got a tee ball set from mom and dad along with a rake and shovel for out in the yard. She doesn't know yet about the large present that she will be getting in a week or so, a swing set. Several family members have pitched in to help with the swing set and I can't wait to surprise her with it in the yard. Reese had an awesome day!

Baseball Weekend

Taylor had wooden bat games this weekend at Central and since it was so pretty, we went to three baseball games. Reese loves taking her bucket and shovel and playing in the dirt and the rocks. We are getting ready for Reese's birthday this week. I can't believe that she will be three!

Easter

The Cousins

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend! It started on Friday with a party at Tracey's and Reese always enjoys that. On Saturday we started with the church egg hunt. Reese enjoyed playing in the jump house, making a treat and then of course finding eggs. The bunny wasn't at church this year, so when we went to the mall we asked her if she wanted to sit in his lap because she told us she would now, but oh no there was no way she would even look at him. In fact, she told Grandy that she would when she was 20! Also, on Saturday we went to Louisville to see Uncle Taylor play baseball and Matt and I had a night out with LeeAnn. Sunday we went to church, had Lunch 1 at Nanny and Pop's with my family and then went to Matt's mom and dad's for Lunch 2. Reese and Ramsey had a great day and the bunny came to several different houses! Reese fell asleep on the way home from Grandy's and slept until the next morning. Of course I couldn't get great pictures of the girls together, but at least I think I got one decent one. I can't wait until Ramsey can sit up so I can get there picture together better.

First Baby Food

Spring Break

Without the grandparents around we have felt all alone over Spring Break! They have all been gone to the beach! But, we have had a great time together. Monday Matt and Reese went to the zoo while Ramsey and I went shopping. We didn't want to get her out in the cold since she has just gotten over coughing for a month. Ramsey got a bumbo sit and she loves sitting up. We also went out to eat with Annie and Pat. On Tuesday Reese and I went to Chic Filet for breakfast and she had a blast playing in the play area. Wednesday we all worked and played outside. Reese played in the mud and rode her riding toy while Ramsey sit in her chair. Ramsey got her first cereal and baby food. She quite didn't know what to think of it, but she finally got the hang of it. Thursday I took the girls to Freeman Lake Park and we had a picnic lunch along with everyone else in Elizabethtown!! Man it was crowded. We are looking forward to everyone returning from the beach this weekend. I can't believe that Spring Break is almost over. Oh well that means that summer is even closer!
