There is a Big Wedding about to Happen!!!

This past Saturday we started the serious of events leading up to Annie's (Lee Ann's, Matt's sister) wedding. We had a wedding shower for her and the girls of course had a great time seeing their family and "helping" Annie open her gifts. The girls are so excited about being in the wedding and Reese can't wait to wear her wedding dress as she calls it. September 10th will be here before we know it and we are so excited for Lee Ann and Damien!

Little Ohio Trip

Since my brother Taylor was playing in Dayton, OH this past weekend we decided to make a little trip out of it and take the girls along. Reese loves staying in a hotel a little too much! Matt and I were afraid we were going to get kicked out because they were so loud and they were messing with EVERYTHING! I was about to go crazy!! A two and half hour baseball game and no friends to play with, equals disaster for two little bored girls. The coloring book, babies, and leapster just didn't cut it! So we went to two baseball games on Friday and then packed up and headed back toward Cincinnati so the girls could do something fun. We took them swimming and then to the Children's Museum. I also got to swing by an outlet mall to grab a couple of things. It was a good trip, but it proved to me that I am glad we didn't take a big vacation because it was tough and we would have gone crazy I think! Summer So Far

We haven't gone on any big vacation, but we have enjoyed just hanging out here around home. We have gone swimming, played at Chick-Fil-A with friends, played at Funtopia and our swing set, been to I Made it to paint a plate, Holiday World and next week we are heading to Dayton, OH for my brothers baseball tournament. So we are hoping to maybe do some fun things with the girls then. Reese loves spending the night in a hotel and I love seeing and hearing her be so excited to go to a hotel!! Reese has really enjoyed riding her tricycle, she has proven to us that she is ready for a bike, so maybe if preschool gets off to a great start, she can earn her bike since Christmas is so far off. Ramsey is really starting to talk, she is trying to say everything that we tell her to. She also loves to play babies with Reese and it is so sweet to watch them play together. Our summertime is slowly fading away but we are going to make the most of what we have left!

4th of July

This year we didn't do a whole lot for the fourth of the July. Sometimes that is nice though instead of running around from place to place. We didn't get to see any fireworks, I think the girls would still be scared. I did however dress the girls the part for church. Ramsey is going through a really funky stage with the camera, she won't even look at me when I get the camera out. We just had our family pictures taken and she definitely didn't cooperate like I wanted her too. She also modeled some pillowcase dresses for a local boutique and that didn't go well either. So, Ramsey is what she is for the camera right now. If I don't have the camera out, she is all smiles.
