Prom 2011

Today was a fun day! This morning Taylor played St.X and they are number two in the state and Central Hardin walked away with a win! Then we had to rush home to get ready for Prom. He cleaned up well! They are headed to Ruth Chris steak house for dinner. They looked great together! Have fun guys!

First Bike Ride

Finally we were able to bring Reese's Santa bike out of the basement for her to ride outside. She did a really good job for her first time, however she doesn't quite get the whole break idea!

Easter 2011

I believe this will be an Easter that we will never forget! Rain and more rain! It was also Reese's 5th birthday. I was disappointed that all three of the girls egg hunts had to be inside, but they enjoyed them no matter what! Easter morning my family attended church with us and then we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, my favorite biscuit and gravy besides my Mom and Nanny's! Afterwards we opened birthday gifts and then we went to Matt's family Easter. The girls were so exhsuted we carried them from the car to their bed in their dresses at 5:30 and they slept until Monday morning!

Spring Break

We didn't do a whole lot for Spring Break, we just hung around here mostly and worked around the house. One day during the week we did take the girls to Bowling Green so we could watch Taylor play baseball and we let them swim at a hotel. They sure do like staying in a hotel! We also found the best park in Bowling Green! I honestly think I could live there!

Reese's Bunny Brunch

To celebrate Reese's 5th birthday we decided to do an Easter themed party since her actual birthday is on Easter this year. At the Bunny Brunch, we served the kids bunny tails (donut holes) and fruit. We also made crafts and had an egg hunt. The egg hunt was a disappointment because it was rainy and cold, but the kids still had a good time. Reese kept saying several times that this was the best party she had ever had!

Remembering Pop's Birthday

April 3rd was my Pop's birthday, so we all went to church with Nanny in Hart County. Nanny and Pop's church honored Pop by placing red roses on the communion altar. After the service, we all visited the grave site. This was the first time the girls had seen the grave. Reese had been talking about seeing it all week. To wish Pop a Happy Birthday, the girls released Happy Birthday balloons so that Pop could get them in heaven. Happy Birthday Pop, we sure miss you! My pictures didn't turn out like I would have liked, but I am still learing my new camera!
