She just amazes me!

Reese has really amazed me lately with what all she is learning to do! Reese can swing on her own now, she is reading a lot of words and can read most level one books with a little help, tying her own shoes (pretty good), can get in the car and buckle herself, brush her own teeth, play independently, draw some creative things, she prays some pretty thoughtful prayers (last week she said she hoped Jesus would lay His holy hand on all the sick people) and the thing that I am most proud of her is the way she treats Ramsey. She will always share whatever soccer snack she receives and plays with her very well around the house. I am so proud of her and very thankful to call her my daughter. We love you Reese!

Ramsey sings at church!

Ramsey had the opportunity to be a star at church this morning! Her Wednesday night WAM Jr. group sang "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, God has made you who you are!" At first, you can see she is a little nervous with her hands in her mouth and then she warmed up. By the end she noticed where I was and she came down saying in the microphone, "I need to tell you something!" They were so cute!

Grandmama Visit

Today we decided to go and visit Matt's 87 year old grandmama that lives in Madisonville. They treated us to a great home cookin' restaurant, Country Cupboard. Grandmama has 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, with twins on the way and 1 great-great grandchlild with one on the way. I just hope that I can get around as well as she does at her age. Her and her husband go dancing at least once a week. Truly an amazing woman! We enjoyed our visit.

Pumpkin Patch!

Ramsey wanted a yellow-green pumpkin this year! And of course Ramsey had to use the bathroom out in the pumpkin patch so we used the porta potty!! GROSS! Let me mention that is the second time she has used one in two weeks! The joys of potty training.

Jackson's Orchard

This year we steered away from our annual tradition of Huber Farms and ventured south to Jackson's Orchard in Bowling Green. It definitely wasn't the same, but I was pleased with what they had to offer for kids to do. As you can tell, Reese loved the big slide and Ramsey did not! The best part of Huber's is the restaurant, so we had to settle with Olive Garden. I did miss however our zoo trip on the same day, but we told the girls we are going to try the Halloween party at the zoo this year on an October weekend. Overall it was a great family trip!

Just a good rare picture of the girls!

Our Japenese Friend Visit

Recently a friend of the family visited the United States on her vacation. We got to know Kate when she was here as a foreign excahnge student with our Aunt Cheryl. We enjoyed our visit with Kate and the girls enjoyed their cookies she brought for them! We also enjoy when Mac comes to visit as well!

Disney on Ice

A couple of weekends I decided to surprise Reese with a mommy and Reese day! I told her we were going to Louisville, but I didn't tell her until we pulled into the Yum Center and I got the tickets out and read them to her. She was so excited! We had a great time!

Friday Night Football

We all really enjoy going to Central Hardin's football games. On Homecoming night they had facepainting for the kids and Uncle Taylor escorted his girlfriend, Paige.
