A couple of Random things
Yesterday Reese was invited to spend the night with her first friend, Hannah. She packed her bag and hoped in that car so fast when she was given the opportunity. When they were about to pull out of the driveway, I saw the most beautiful rainbow. The girls ooed and yawed over it, but I suddently realized that it was right over Addison's house. I immediatley thought of her favorite movie, "Wiard of Oz." I was so glad to learn this morning that her parents saw the rainbow as well. What a great sign for them!
This morning I needed to work on my summer class that I am taking so I asked Matt if he could take Ramsey downstairs with him. Well, she didn't like that idea at all, she cried and yelled for mommy at the basement door. I suddenly notized that the crying and yelling had stopped, so I assumed that she had gone back downstairs to play with Matt. I then hear Matt come upstairs and he motioned for me to come here, yep she had fallen asleep on the steps! Poor thing!

The Bruins are Playin' for Addison
What a week this has been! When the Bruins won the 5th Region, they had their mind made up that they were "playing for Addison" at the state tournament. To honor her, their Region Champ shirts were yellow and they had yellow wrist bands made with her initials on it. The proceeds from the t-shirts and yellow bracelets will go towards purchasing a plaque for the Bruin dugout in Addison's honor. On Monday the Bruins made their second straight appearance to the state tournament, but this time it was a win for Game 1 againist George Rogers Clark, 9-0. It was great to see Addison's family there cheering the Bruins in a sea of yellow. Wedensday night the Bruins played againist Apollo, it was a very close game until Matt Nicholas hit a Grand Slam in the 5th inning to put the Bruins up by 5, I am sure that made Addison smile! The Bruins did go on to win that game 6-2. Friday night they are scheduled to play St.X in the semi-finals. I am convinced that they are going all the way because they are Playin' for Addison! I will have several more pictures to come, but for right now, this might be my favorite picture that I have ever taken. This is my brother Taylor and his best friend Hunter right before the start of Game 1. The Bruins are Playin' for Addison!
Saturday Morning Outing
This past weekend Matt was at basketball camp, so I decided to take the girls to the Freeman Lake Children's fair. We stayed a little while and they got to sit in a police car and go in a firetruck and the best part was they got a bunch of free kids meals! I also let them play at the mall playground and then we headed to Zaxby's to use our free kids meal tickets! We had a fun Saturday!

Back to Back Region CHAMPS!
So for the second year in a row, the Bruins will be heading to the state tournament! To recap the tournament, the Bruins played Nelson County the first now and merced ruled them, the second night they played Taylor County and they mercy ruled them as well. On the championship night, the Bruins won againist Campbellsville, 10-2. The last game on Bruin field was a special one for my brother Taylor because he was named to the All-Region team. He had a great night as he went 2-3 at the plate and earlier in the week on Monday he pitched a great game againist Nelson County.
