The Week

Well, I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by and that this week it will be July! Matt and I survived watching four kids under the age of four this week. Reese loved playing with her cousin Olivia and they had a ball having a tea party with real water! What was I thinking! Ramsey is starting to move her arms a little bit forward trying to crawl, she just likes to get up in the push up position at this point! Reese is still doing an unbelievable job with the potty, she is actually taking naps now without a pull-up! So, we just need to tackle the nights. We are so proud of her! I can't believe that we have been getting ready for church early, but I have been taking pictures of the girls before church because they look so cute in their dresses. I love dressing the girls and it is even fun to try and coordinate their outfits, maybe not to match but in the same color family at least. Today's theme was pink and green with watermelons, thanks to Grandy for the cute dresses!

Pool Time

We finally had the chance to take the girls to the pool. Reese loved it as usual, except after she got supposedly stung by a bug she didn't want to get back in. Ramsey was a little slow on liking it, but after a while she got real use to it. In fact, she just decided she was going to relax and enjoy the sun.

Ramsey is 7 months!

The girls have a new cousin!

Olivia's baby sister Hadley Elise Paulsen was born on June 2. Ramsey is excited that she will have a cousin to play with! She is such a cutie!

Happy Father's Day!

We were reminded at church yesterday that every Sunday should be Father's day as we should honor our heavenly father not just once a year, but everyday. At church Reese received a party favor for a celebration that they had and when we got home she thought it would be funny to blow it at Ramsey and you will have to watch to see what Ramsey thought of that. I want to also take this time to share with everyone what a wonderful father Matt is to the girls. He shows them continous love and they are lucky to have a dad that is crazy about them, just as I have a Dad that would do anything in the world for me and he has shown that numerous of times! Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!

DORA Live!

Today Reese and I went with a group of friends to see Dora Live in Louisville. Reese loved the show and she really had a great time with all of her friends. She is so funny because there is a fox in Dora named swiper, but she calls him sweeper and she also says she is scared of him for some reason, so I was a little worried about that, but she did a great job. However, she informed me that she still doesn't like sweeper the fox. We all went and had lunch afterwards, it was just a fun filled day!

Our Family Photo Shoot

To the side is a link to the slideshow of our recent family photographs. As Brittany mentioned before, Shea Halliburton took the pictures of the family. She is a cousin of mine and as you can see she is extremely talented. If she can get anything good out of me she has to be a miracle worker. We want to thank Shea again for everything she did for us. Please let us know your favorite ones because we will have a hard time deciding on which ones to order!

My Pottying Princess

Reese has finally decided to be a big girl and start pottying on her own. She hasn't had any accidents in several days and she has been going to the potty when we are out, which is a big step! She decided that when she started pottying that she wanted a real fish like at Wal-Mart, so I guess we will be going and getting a fish this week! She also told me she wanted a muppets movie. I just hope she continues doing so well. It will be GREAT to get one out of diapers! That is one thing hopefully checked off my summer to do list!

Big Girl Highchair!

I can't believe how fast Ramsey is getting to be a big girl. In the past week, she is sitting in her highchair and she is also starting to drink out of a cup. It won't be long and she will be crawling!

On-the-Go weekend to see Matt's family

Grandmama with Ramsey

Yes, I finally put a bow on Ramsey (for those who know me well)

Gotta have the matching pj's!

Nice Farmer's tan!

This weekend we packed up what seemed like the house and hit the road on Friday. The girls and I started at Nanny and Pop's for a great lunch in Hart County and then we headed to Barren County to watch Matt's basketball team. Then, all together we were on our way to Grandmama's, Matt's grandmother who lives in Madisonville, KY. We had dinner with them and stayed the night. Saturday morning we packed up and traveled to Clarksville, TN to Matt's Aunt's house. We had our photo shoot with his cousin Shea and then Reese and Matt went swimming at their house. By the way, we hung going swimming over her head in order to take pictures for an hour and a half. She was so funny on the way back from the barn because she said, "I was just a little whinny" Today we got up and Matt's cousin Sara had a baby shower for their little girl Kinsley. Reese and Ramsey are excited to have another girl cousin! We made it home a little while ago and Matt has left for basketball camp for the next couple of days. Here are some pictures from our weekend and soon I will have a link for our photo shoot pictures! The girls were such good travelers and I am very thankful for that! We had a great weekend with family.

Reese at 6 months

Everyone is always saying the girls look alike, I think this picture really shows how much they don't look alike, especially at 6 months. It is just interesting to go back and look at pictures when Reese was the age that Ramsey is now.

Happy Birthday Gran!

Check out Ramsey's toe touch!
Last night we celebrated mom's birthday, but today is her actual birthday. Taylor and I are going to take her out to eat for breakfast this morning. We had a nice fried chicken meal that Nanny and Pop brought up and mom's favorite dessert, orange juice cake. Mom got a digital photo frame so that she can enjoy all the pictures that she takes. Happy Birthday Mom (Gran)!

Did Someone say Summer?

Sunday Best

Look at those rolls!
Ramsey had her 6 month check up on Monday and had to have three shots. She weighed 18 pounds, which puts her in the 80th percentile for weight and she was 27 inches long, which puts her in the 90th percentile in length. She might be our big girl!!!
