Tough Times

The past several weeks have been really hard for my family and I. My Pop, my idol, is struggling with cancer and can't seem to get any kind of positive news. It breaks my heart to see him, my nanny and my mom in this kind of condition. It is hard to face that family gatherings will never be the same. Memories of my Pop are so vivid and will have a special place in my heart always. The reason I teach Social Studies, specifically, United States History, is because of him. There is no one who loves his grandaughter and great-grandaughters more than Pop. I love you Pop!
