When Matt and I got married, we came from different dominations growing up, so it made it a very hard decision as to where we were headed to church. After discussion, we decided that it would be best to start in a new church instead of going to one of our childhood churches. The first church we went to, First Christian, we immediately felt a connection with and we have loved being there ever since. We have spent 8 happy years there and the church family has welcomed our two girls into the church family. It was very hard to leave the pews that we started our marriage off, but as our preacher continously said, "The church is the people, not a building." Here is a picture of my family during the last Sunday at First Christian Church. We are all very excited about the future of First Christian Church and where Jesus Christ is leading us as a church body!
